
Director of Service Operations
Mike is a highly motivated leader who prioritizes excellent customer service and delivering turnkey jobs. His responsibilities include overseeing the service team to help ensure seamless delivery, cost control, and continued growth. As part of this work, Mike uses his technical expertise to find creative solutions for complex building comfort management issues.
Mike has over 37 years of commercial and industrial service experience. He began his career at a vocational and technical education high school, where he attended the HVAC training program. Following graduation, he attended an HVAC technical program and then completed a five-year apprenticeship, becoming a United Association Local 211 Journeyman Pipefitter in Houston, TX.
As a pipefitter, he worked in multiple refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, and commercial high-rise buildings, gaining factory certifications. After relocating to Denver, Mike transferred to the United Association Local 208 and attended the journeyman upgrade classes to achieve Level 3, STAR-certified status.
In 2005, Mike and four partners started Colorado HVAC Services, helping build the company into a go-to source for specialized HVAC expertise before it was acquired by Trautman & Shreve.
Mike enjoys restoring classic cars with his two daughters and spending time with his granddaughter, who he hopes to also restore a car with someday.
