Craig works with our project managers and estimating team to analyze and pursue the best projects for the company. He is responsible for the entire work acquisition process, including project selection, management, coordination, and delivery of preconstruction services.

Expertise

Craig began his career in carpentry and accumulated over five years of field experience before transitioning to preconstruction. He served as the preconstruction manager and MEP coordinator for various contracting firms in the Denver area for nine years before joining Trautman as the director of preconstruction in 2023.

Craig has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA, both from Colorado State University. He is a registered professional engineer, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.

The Personal Side

Outside of work, Craig’s interests include investing, home remodeling, and watching sci-fi movies.
